Just outside the continen, neasby Wested, there is a small island named Varsasaari. It is an outdor island full of small cottages. The island is owned by the city of Helsinki (even though it is in Espoo).

Welcome to maybe Espoos archipelagos most beautiful island. Gåsgrundet is on the outer circle of the archipelago. It is an rocky island, but on the northwest shore there are two small beaches. 

Odilampi's small beach is located in Kalajärvi, right on the border with Vantaa. The idyllic beach is peacefully situated in the middle of the forest.

The Klobben beach is at the Klobben peninsula is situated in Soukanranta, south of Laurinlahti in Espoo. The beach is charming and almost quiet place in otherwise quite populated Southern Espoo.

Mellsten Beach is located in the southern Espoo, Haukilahti. Plenty of people live nearby this popular beach.

Pentala is one the islands of Espoo's Archipelago. In the southeastern shore of the island is  beach called Diksand. The beach is in a natural state.

Smalle beach if Kivenlahti is in the middle of quite a big neighborhood in the southern Espoo, by the seaside. The Beach is unofficial, and it actually doesn't even have official name. But the are where it is located is ofted calle Amfi (from amfitheater).

Westend Beach is located in southern Espoo, near Länsiväylä. There is some 4-5 kilometers from here to the center of Helsinki.

The Beach of Toppelund a small beach located in Haukilaht, Espoo. There is a more popular beach Mellsten nearby.

Welcome to Espoos archipelago. Rövaren is a outdoor island in the Eastern Gulf. It can be reached by archipelago boat from april to august, I think..

The Beach of Velskola in Notrhern Espoo. The area is owned and maintaines by the  Evangelical Lutheran Parishes of Espoo. I understand that the beach is a "semi-public". 

The Beach of Saarijärvi is located in Northern Espoo, near the border of Vihti. The lake is shallow with a sandy bottom, so it fit to splash around.

The Beach of Ruispelto is on the north shore of Lake Pitkäjärvi. The beach is small but idyllic. This beach is not well known, and it's used mainly people who live nearby.

The Beach of Oittaa is located on the shores of Lake Bodom. The beach is suitable for families with children as it deepens gradually. Actually Oittaa has actually two seperate beaches. Oittaa is the most popular beach in Espoo, and one of the "top beaches" in Helsinki region.

There isn't actually a swimming beach in Nuottaniemi, but there are three small "sandy spots" from within you can get into the sea. So this is not an official or maintained beach. 

Matinlahti beach is located in Matinkylä. The beach is also known as the Beach of Matinkylä. The beach is one of the Finest in Helsinki-region.  

Iso Vasikkasaari (in English freely translated Big Calf Island) is a wonderful outdoor island Espoo, just outside Matinkylä. In the island, there is one well-equipped beach and a few small ones..

On the seaside of Espoo's Suvisaaristo, there is a small beach in a beautiful location amidst the forest. Suvisaaristo is in english Summer Islands.

There are two beacher in the Lake Kaitalampi, maybe five hundred meters of each other.. Here are pictures of the Northern beach.

In the northern parts of Espoo you can find Kaitalampi. In english Kaitalampi means narrow pond. Located in nature reserve Kaitalampi is very quiet and calm place to hang visit.

There are two beaches in Kaitalampi. Actually they aren't "beaches", but more like "places that you can go to swim." Lake is deep and if I remember correctly the correct word in english is crag. 

Welcome to one of a very strange corner of the city of Espoo. From the Soukka Cape, you can find a six-acre recreational area, The area, including the small beach, is run by the city of Kauniainen..

Since I've taken pictures from all the beaches of my hometown Espoo, a hasty person might think that I am disregarding the other beaches. Sometimes, I may get bored and go for a swim instance for the Piraeus. Piraeus is the neighboring city of Athens, in a sense, therefore, similar to what Espoo is to Helsinki.

Welcome to one of the finest locations in Espoo. Myllyjärvi (in english Mill Lake, I think) is located in northern Espoo, in the north side of lake Bodom. The area is a nature reserve.

Lippajärvi beach is located on the shore of the small Lippajärvi lake in Viherlaakso, Espoo. The beach is also known as Viherranta.

Sorvalampi is a small lake in northern Espoo. The lake is part of the Nuuksio lake highlands, and it has impressive rocks on its shores.

Kattilajärvi beach is located on the shores of Lake Nuuksio, in the middle of a nature reserve. This is perhaps the most secluded and peaceful beach in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.

Karhusaari beach is located by the sea at Keilaniemi, surprise, surprise Karhusaari. The historic beach is not very well known, although you can cycle here in minutes from Lauttasaari, for example.
