The Beaches of Espoo: Kattilajärvi
Kattilajärvi beach is located on the shores of Lake Nuuksio, in the middle of a nature reserve. This is perhaps the most secluded and peaceful beach in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.
The beach is small, but clean. Kattilajärvi beach is one of the beaches maintained by the City of Espoo. As a place, Kattilajärvi is peaceful, almost silent.
The Kattilaniemi campsite is also located in the same area.
It is not very easy to get to the site without a car. The beach is located several kilometres from Nuuksiontie. Bus 85 runs along Nuuksiontie.
