Tapaninvainio beach is located along the Vantaa River. Thanks to the bridge over the river, it is easily accessible from both sides of the shore. By car, the road is more winding.

Lapinlahti beach was long used by the hospital. But since the hospital is no longer there, the beach is freely accessible. I am not sure if the City of Helsinki maintains this beach, or if it is in good condition just due to "old habits."

Mustasaari beach is located on the church's outdoor and camp center island. The island is right next to Kaskisaari, and Lauttasaari is just a stone's throw away.

Seurasaari beach is a small beach in western Helsinki, in the Seurasaari outdoor park. The beach faces approximately southwest, so from midday onward, the sun warms it nicely.

Munkkiniemi beach is located on the seashore at the end of Laajalahti. The popular beach is maintained by the City of Helsinki. I assume the former lifeguard stand can be seen in front.

Kallahdenniemi beach is located in East Helsinki, in Vuosaari. The beach is part of the Kallahdenniemi outdoor area. You won't find a more exotic beach in the metropolitan area: beaches on both sides of the peninsula, and so shallow that it's definitely suitable for the youngest family members.

Eiranranta is found amidst beautiful scenery in southern Helsinki. The beach is not official - meaning water quality is not measured and there are no toilets - but it is still a nice and well-maintained beach.

Myllylampi Beach is located in Nummela, Vihti. The beach is along the ring road (Hanko-Hyvinkää), a stone's throw from Turuntie. It takes about 20 minutes to drive here from Espoo center.

Varikkaa Beach is located at the end of Pääkslahti in Vihti. The beach is an EU-designated beach, meaning it has over a hundred visitors daily in the summer. This is due to the nearby Wellness Village and the camping area.
