The Beaches of Espoo: Hanikka
Hanikka Beach is located by the sea Soukka, in southern Espoo, Finland. The beach is also known as Suinonsalmi beach. Suinonsalmi is an inlet that runs between the isle Suvisaaristo ("Summer Islands") and the mainland Suinonsalmi.
The beach is ideal for families with children. Beach deepens gradually one and a half meters, after that it gets deep quite fast.
The beach is one of the most popular ones in Espoo, with more than 300 swimmers, or more per day. Thus, the standard of equipment is all well and good, such as changing rooms are clean and spacious.
The archipelago scenery is exquisite. Also, public transport connections is quite good.
