The Beaches of Vihti: Myllylampi
Myllylampi Beach is located in Nummela, Vihti. The beach is along the ring road (Hanko-Hyvinkää), a stone's throw from Turuntie. It takes about 20 minutes to drive here from Espoo center.
The beach is on the eastern shore of Iso Myllylampi. My impression is that there hasn't been much blue-green algae here. At least in late July 2019, when many other lakes had blue-green algae, there were no sightings here. Of course, this lake is not a guaranteed case.
The beach gradually deepens but quite quickly. In other words, it's suitable for small children, but older ones can also swim.
The beach has two piers. This picture shows the first one towards the second one. Although the beach strip is quite narrow, there is still plenty of room to swim.
The beach has changing rooms and toilets.
On top of the hill, there is a grill and terrace.
There are plenty of parking spaces, and this is only part of it.
