The Beaches of Kirkkonummi: Sundet

Sundetin small beach is located in Kirkkonummi, Sundsberget. This charming little beach is right next to residential areas but feels like it's far away from everything.

The beach is shallow and initially has a sandy bottom. Majvik is just on the other side of the bay (and behind the forest).

Since the opportunity arises, I might as well appear in the pictures myself sometimes.

On the hill, there is the Sipuli sauna, which can apparently be rented for private use.

Then, for the history enthusiasts: on the hill, right next to the beach, there seemed to be a partially collapsed bunker. Or at least a place that very much looked like a bunker. And since the northeastern corner of the Porkkala rental area was practically this bay, this would have been the most natural place for a bunker. It's amazing what you can find.
